580 HP – TUNED, NOT JUST TURNED UP
At the heart of the Porsche 992.2 is the 3.0-liter six-cylinder biturbo boxer engine. This very turbo technology offers an excellent basis for targeted performance optimization.
With our Performance Stage 1, the relevant maps of the engine control unit are individually optimized.
These include, among others:
- Boost pressure control
- Ignition maps
- Fuel maps
- Torque limitations
- Load demand
- Accelerator pedal characteristic
- Temperature and protection strategies
- Interaction between engine and transmission
It's not about simply maximizing individual values. The various parameters must work together smoothly.

WHY THE 3.0-LITER BITURBO HAS SO MUCH POTENTIAL
The 992.2's biturbo boxer engine already offers powerful supercharging, modern intercooling, and highly developed engine management from the factory.
This is precisely where our software optimization comes in.
Through adjusted boost pressure control, the turbochargers can provide more air mass within our tuning. At the same time, fuel supply, ignition, and the torque model are adjusted accordingly.
The interaction is crucial.
More boost pressure alone does not make good software.
Our goal is a power delivery that does not feel artificial or aggressive, but as if the Porsche should have had this power from the factory.

The WEISS Performance Stage 1 also includes the adjustment of the electronic V-max limit.
This means that the additional performance potential is not only usable during acceleration, but the software-based speed limit is also adjusted accordingly.
The use of the increased top speed must, of course, only take place under suitable and legally permissible conditions.
VALVE CONTROL
More performance should also be heard.
Therefore, our package includes a valve control system that allows for more precise control of the exhaust flaps.
This gives the driver more control over the sound of the 992.2 and can influence the character of the vehicle depending on the situation.

PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENT BEFORE AND AFTER

Therefore, our performance stage includes a performance measurement before and after optimization.
Before tuning, the vehicle's initial state is documented. After optimization, a new measurement is taken.
