Each component is made from high-quality carbon and produced using the prepreg process. This process is one of the most demanding and high-quality methods of carbon processing and is used wherever low weight, high strength, precise geometries, and a clean surface quality are crucial.

Prepreg Carbon – precisely manufactured

In the prepreg process, the carbon fibers are pre-impregnated at the factory with a precisely defined amount of high-quality resin matrix. Unlike simple wet laminates, the resin is not applied manually during production.

This allows the ratio between carbon fiber and resin to be controlled much more precisely. Too much resin can create unnecessary weight, while too little resin can impair material quality. In the prepreg process, the amount of resin is already precisely matched, which enables a uniform and high-quality laminate structure.

The individual carbon layers are then aligned according to the respective component geometry and carefully placed into the mold. Not only the number of layers is crucial, but also the fiber direction. This is chosen to best combine stability, dimensional stability, and optical fiber alignment.

After lamination, compaction takes place under vacuum and controlled curing under defined temperature conditions. This reduces air inclusions and connects the individual carbon layers to a homogeneous structure.

The result is a component with high strength, low weight, clean shaping, and a uniform carbon structure.

Especially with complex components with radii, edges, depressions, and aerodynamic contours, this manufacturing quality is clearly noticeable. Precise transitions, clean edges, and a high-quality surface are an essential part of the overall product.

Gloss Finish
The high-gloss variant ensures maximum color depth and a particularly pronounced carbon effect. The fiber structure appears more contrasting and has a very high-quality, exclusive surface.

Glaze in desired color
For a particularly individual finish, we offer a transparent or translucent color glaze in the desired color.

The carbon is not painted opaquely. Instead, a colored glaze is applied over the carbon surface. This gives the component the desired color, while the characteristic carbon structure remains visible.

For example, the carbon can be matched to the vehicle color, interior color, brake caliper color, or an individual accent tone, without losing the typical carbon character.

Depending on the color and incidence of light, a special depth effect is created: the desired color optically lies over the carbon structure, while the weave still shines through visibly.

Thus, the glaze offers an exclusive combination of individual coloring and real visible carbon.

Production begins with the preparation of the molds and the precise cutting of the individual carbon layers. The layers are then carefully positioned, vacuumed, controllably cured, and then further processed.

After curing, the components are cut, edges are finished, mounting areas are prepared, and the surfaces are refined according to the desired finish variant.

Only then does the final quality control take place.

This process takes time but enables a manufacturing quality that meets the demands of a high-end vehicle conversion.
